About Us

School Days Preschool is a Connecticut State licensed preschool providing care and education for children ages 3, 4, and 5. Prior to opening School Days Preschool in 2012, Miss Maria worked in the public school system for 25+ years. She has great passion for early childhood education and children. School Days philosophy and mission is to provide all children with a safe, loving and stimulating environment in which to grow and learn. The focus of School Days Preschool is to enhance and enrich each child’s life socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, academically and through early childhood language development. We work with each child to be well prepared in all aspects to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

The staff is composed of early childhood educators. Each teacher has their certification in medical administration, first aid and CPR. Each teacher fulfills professional development training to stay in conjunction with the elementary schools. Our curriculum includes Wilson Fundations, Heggerty Phonics, I-Ready Math and Reading, learning through play and the Scholastic weekly reader that includes social studies, science and discovery.

School Days Preschool has been recognized for education excellence, care and dedication as Top Preschool of Fairfield County for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

We have been recognized for “Amazing Achievement and Contribution to the Children” by the State of Connecticut. School Days Preschool has been an integral part of the Trumbull Community as a leading preschool.
